Welcome to Rochford Deanery Website

Welcome to Rochford Deanery - we are part of the Anglican (Church of England) Diocese of Chelmsford in the United Kingdom.  Our Deanery is a collection of people in parishes in the south east corner of Essex stretching from Rettendon in the west to Foulness in the East.  We are bound by the River Crouch in the North.  We are north of the A127.  The Deanery comprises predominantly rural villages with Rayleigh, Rochford, Hockley and Hawkwell being the larger villages and towns.
